Higher Search Engine Rank

Labels: ,

A higher search engine rank is a common goal of web marketers and often a mystery for beginners. Besides good on-page optimization, link building is huge when it comes to bagging those coveted top spots. Read on for the top four ways to get more backlinks to your website and get higher search engine rank.

Tips #1:
Submit your website to web directories - There are a lot of free web directories you can submit your site to that will help you accumulate back links.

Tips #2:
Submitting articles to article directories is a powerful technique. If you aren't confident in your writing ability you can hire others to write original articles for you at surprisingly reasonable prices. Articles of decent quality that offer valuable content can build considerable traffic flow over time while giving you some quality back links. Make sure your article includes suitable anchor text and a link leading back to your website in your author bio or resource box.

Tips #3:
Posting on related forums or blogs - One good bet in trying to build up search engine rankings would be to get your website link onto pages of blogs and forums of sites with related themes to your own. You can post comments or even questions on blogs using your website in your signature. Make sure your link is only in your signature or you're likely to get banned for spamming.

Tips #4:
Exchanging links with related websites - If you can get other high quality and related websites to exchange their links with yours on each other's website homepages, this can be a fantastic way of building up backlinks. Unfortunately the process can be very labor intensive. As with other methods you want quality over quantity. Due to the time required to implement this tip I recommend you spend your time on other methods, like article marketing, before working on exchanging links.

First of all...get to know what is Google Adsense.

Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money. Because the ads are related to what your visitors are looking for on your site — or matched to the characteristics and interests of the visitors your content attracts — you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content pages.
It's also a way for website publishers to provide Google web and site search to their visitors, and to earn money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.

Get started with Google Adsense

Now that you’ve know what’s Google Adsense and you are ready to start, here’s your step-to-step guide (assuming you already have a website or blogsite).

1. First, signup at Google Adsense. You can do so by clicking on the linkbelow. You’ll need your mailing address and website ready… just fill up standard forms, nothing fancy.

2. Go to Adsense setup and setup your ads outlook - the border color, background color, as well as the text colors. Assign channels to your ads if you wish to monitor your ad performance individually.

3. Copy the adsense code (piece of java script) at the bottom of setup page and paste it to your webpage.

4. Load it to your server and preview it.

5. At first, you might be seeing no ads or Google community ads. This is because Google bot has yet to crawl your site content and has insufficient info about your site so they will just serve community ads that will not earn you any money. Once your site is crawled (normal within minutes) and they realize what your site is about, they will put on related ads.

It is simple. In fact, there are tons of better guides with Google officials and it’s definitely helps a lot for the starters. You can check them up at here: Adsense Basics.

Tips for earning per clicks (EPC)

If you ever feel that your ads clicks are undervalued, it probably is! Make sure there are no junk advertisers advertising on your website. Clear them out. Chase them away from your Google Adsense block list so that it won’t appears again at your site. What you want are SERIOUS advertisers that are willing to pay for good money in the trade of your traffics - not some other stupid MFA junk sites.
Google Adsense Preview Tool comes very handy when you need to identify those MFA sites.
Another issue with EPC is that is your site content in the high-demand sectors? Get a niche content to start up in your website but not too niche until there’s no related advertisers on your websites. If you are starting up your adsense website now, you better do something that relates to expensive key terms.

  7. Generally 336 x 286 large rectangle ads work the best for me in term of CTR. This is however; very particular experience and it might not work the same on your websites.
